Teaching Practice

 1.1 Procedures of teaching

The teaching step that the coordinating teacher taught me was to make a Lesson Plan first. Before that, however, I had the opportunity to make observations which later became material for evaluation and improvement in the way I taught the Grade 7 students. After I was introduced to the structure of the lesson plan and some of the things that were mentioned in the teaching materials by the coordinating teacher, I started making the lesson plan. The lesson plan contained well-organized instructions, so I just followed the lesson plan and used the quiz for evaluation and assessment.

1.2 Time management and organizing activities

In dividing the teaching time, because I teach computer subjects, I divide 1/3 of the lesson to discuss theory, and 2/3 hours to do practicum. In the practicum, because not all computers are working, I divide them into groups, and then ask students to work together.

1.3 Classroom management

To tackle the class, I use PPT which functions like a bulletin board to ask students to focus on the lesson. In addition, I also use puzzle games and some other games to overcome the crowded class and ask back what they have learned by using a random student appointment system through the application.

I Use the Puzzle to Fisrt Assesment before the Lesson. So The Student will be understand with my explanation.

All of the student feel exiting to guess the Puzzle

And this is the effect after i used the puzzle for the first impression to the lesson.

1.4 Problem-solving while teaching and staying in the designated school

During my teaching career, the most common problems that arose were crowded classes and students' lack of understanding of the material I was explaining. Therefore, I use concise language and emphasize keywords in each term and write instructions clearly. In addition, as I mentioned above, I use several supporting applications such as wordwall.com to make all students pay attention and refocus on the lesson and make it easier for them to understand what I have said.

Actually, I use the microphone to clear my voice for the student and ask the student to mention what i have thought to them.
